DAD 2010 Management Team (Alias DAD's Army)
The management team for DAD 2010 consists of representatives from voluntary and Statutory organisations.
- Chris Monks - WDP - Administration Co-ordinator for The Pulse sponsored walk/push (supported by Sue and Steve on the day).
- Brun Corbishley - WDP - Facilities and logistics Co-ordinator. Administration of the event takes months of planning, communicating, and a huge amount of commitment from everyone.
- Audrey Rogers - WDP. Exhibitor Data Co-ordinator. Mrs Stats.
- Pam Thompson - WDP. Mrs DAD. Mail outs, cooking burgers for the DAD Week team and being married to Dave (the Co-ordinator) also means being married to DAD.
- Ian Johnson- WBC - Walton Hall Estates Manager - New to this year's team Ian will be keeping a watching brief on our careful use of the sacred grounds of Walton Hall.
- Dave Thompson MBE DL - 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust - Can't say too much about myself, as the event Co-ordinator if it goes well, I tend to get the thanks, but when it goes wrong I always get the blame. All I can say is that we have a great team.
- Jayne Horton - WDP - Jayne ensures that we keep all the balls in the air, catching the ones that nearly fall! She co-ordinates the main arena and the Positive Action Awards and VIP Reception with Caroline.
- Doreen Crossley - WDP - Co-ordinates all DAD finances, supporting our stewards and staff.
- Tommy Hammond - WDP - Chico and Mr Fix-it. A vital member of the DAD Week team and always knows where everything is.
- Caroline Thompson -WDP, fresh back from maternity leave we are sure that Cas will have a finger in every pie including the VIP Reception and Positive Action Awards with Jayne. Certainly deserves the title Mrs Organised.
- Terry Cook - DAD head steward, Mr Reliable, his "safety first" mentality and a cool head are great assets to the team. Sometimes found hiding in trees!
- Gavin Thompson - WDP, assistant head steward, grown up with DAD, first DAD event at the age of 12. Dave's son and future co-ordinator! (Sorry Gav didn't I mention that one)
- Derek Jones -WDP - employment co-ordinator, manages positive action, employment and schools events.
- Dave Connor - WDP - co-ordinates sporting activities at DAD and the Wheelchair Skills event held during DAD week.

- Maria McPartland - WDP - Our new joint co-ordinator of everything to do with the Arts Marquee, DAD launch and main arena. She is also lending us her beloved Dora The Explorer the VW Caravanette.
- Tom Horton - WDP - our other joint co-ordinator of everything to do with the Arts Marquee, DAD launch and main arena. If we keep Tom busy it might stop him doing a rendition of Cozy Powell
- Wayne Derbyshire - Thorn Cross Young Offenders Institute. Wayne co-ordinates the great team of lads from Thorn Cross.
- Gary Wells -WDP - DAD programme co-ordinator who has promised he will sell every square inch!
- Sue Abbott - WDP - Sue co-ordinates our websites, ably assisted by daughter and friend of DAD Penny.
